|The Arizona Rangers have a proud history that goes back to the early 1900's. They are a statewide Law Enforcement auxiliary that reports to the Governor of Arizona. They are subject to being called out by the Governor, The AZ Dept. of Public Safety, County Sheriffs, and Police Chiefs throughout the State in event of Federal, State, County or Municipal Emergencies or Public Safety details. They are often asked to provide a security presence at community events around the State. The Ranger Motto is "A few but proud, then and now".
